Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities

Kids’ Turn San Diego frequently has volunteer opportunities for individuals to support our programs and special events.  Time commitments range from 2 hours to 20 hours per month.

Volunteer activities at our workshops include assisting the program staff  with children’s activities.  These activities involve supervising art activities,  reading books, preparing snacks, assisting with the entries for the children’s group newsletter to their parents and other similar tasks.

Volunteer activities at our special events include registration of participants, packaging silent and live auction items, setting up auction tables, manning tee boxes at golf fundraisers, selling raffle tickets, assisting at check out tables, clean up and other duties related to executing our events.

To be considered for a volunteer opportunity, please send a cover letter, current resume and a professional letter of recommendation to our Program Director, Beth Sondak, at beths@kidsturnsd.org.  You will be contacted for an interview if your skills and qualifications match the tasks for our current volunteer opportunities.
